Collected some more info today. Disregard most of my previous post because I was assuming that all 1/2/2 PL have the same number of alarms as all other 1/2/2 PL, but this is not the case.
L = large transmission
m = medium transmission
t = tiny transmission
- = no transmission
(blank) = no data yet
Alarms | |||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Incognito | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
0 | - | t | t | m | m | m | |
1 | - | - | t | t | m | m | |
2 | - | - | - | t | t | m | |
3 | - | - | - | - |
Incognito appears to have no effect on non-passive tools (like the "pulse of data back to the system"), but there are other ways to deal with that (such as using Network Silence the round before).
I'm not sure where the large transmission fits into things yet, but I'll do more testing. A password lock + zaibatsu defender gave a large transmission which went down to medium with some disabling, but they killed me before getting down further.
Looks like password locks with 1 processor have 3-4 alarms, though a 2 processor one seems to have at least 5. I've seen a Zaibatsu Defender with 2 alarms and Omnitech Autodefense with 1-2 (possibly more?) alarms.
Also, raw data for the record:
Symbols:
"|" = start of new hacking attempt
"-1" = disabled an alarm
"-2" = disabled 2 alarms
"all" = disabled all alarms
number after the colon = incognito
