8 First Aid doesn't make any difference in attempting to treat her. Possibly it's an etheric defense check?

A full heavy containment suit doesn't serve to protect you from the disease, either.
Doctor's outfit doesn't help, and you can't do anything interesting with a Myers sampling kit.
Residual antidote doesn't protect you, either. Neither does writhing flesh.
Same result for 8 FA (including Surgical Memory), Focused Perception, Studious Nature, etc.
Looks like Slags poisoning doesn't do anything when attempting to treat her, either.
Also tried with 26 Etheric power.
Muffled Sight doesn't provide enough of a barrier to protect you. Clearest Eyes doesn't help either.
Also tried Bone Scales, Bone Spikes, Calcified Organs and Burning Vision to no avail.
6 Light of the Eye in your deck doesn't help. Tried wearing a simple blindfold and otherwise getting to a -13 modifier to Perception (leaving me with 7 effective). Didn't suffice to keep me from noticing wounds on myself.
Just chatting with her doesn't have any difference from having read through History of the Orbital Wars, having a regal crown or memorial rifle equipped or having 3 first aid.
