Huh i like hows there's factionalism between etheric creatures. And from what he says it makes pretty good sense for him to see them as the good guys. At least ghouls are anthropomorphic, and i don't know about you guys but i would be less freaked out by them than by hounds, which are considerably more otherworldly. And when you come to think about it, the artist was never a prisoner of the ghouls, its more like he subconsciously was creating a perfect home for is defenders. Although he was probably influenced by them in some manner.
