I'm not actually sure that level 5 is full control, since I couldn't beat it, and have no idea what it unlocks.

Also, the 3 MSSPS keys drop I think has been fixed to drop something I can't test.

Also, since it only did 67 damage, it seems like it should be possible to survive the OMEGA ORDER. Probably with either fire def or etheric def.

So, getting to level 5 gives you the release locks option, and also lets you cancel the system alert. However, there's still another level of access, and it doesn't appear to give any additional options. (I tried checking it with a Deep File Scan just in case, but nada.)

Kinak says that it's working as intended, though, so I've got to assume that there's something still to be discovered. The question is just what has to be done to make the last option appear…

Well, assuming it's like the other computers it's probably attaching a specific PDA to the machine to read its files. That, or protein… finder… thing.

It seems unlikely (given that he dismisses Dr. Thomas as a rogue), but maybe Thrivaldi (or the boss of the Buried Lab, whoever that is) is the SPGrimhild who originally encrypted the Encrypted PDA. IIRC Dr. Amundsen mentions that decrypting it in anywhere but the right place will set of alarms. Maybe this is the right place?

Level 6 lets you decrypt the Encrypted PDA.

"You attach the PDA and the security system establishes a momentary uplink with Midgard's core servers. Several progress bars roll by while you wait.

A final screen displays the slightly strange message:

Emergency Encryption Removed
Documents Recovered
Encryptor: SPGrimhild
Decryptor: SPThrivaldi

Regardless of who or what those might be, you manage to safely pull the documents from the PDA to your comm, leaving the PDA clean and usable.

You found: Fangs' encrypted files

You found: Fang PDA"

So, Thrivaldi is SPThrivaldi, which is… not unexpected. I guess level 6 in the buried lab is just for narrative consistency, and when you feel that you're not working hard enough already trying to make it through the quests.
