So does anyone have any ideas for a good deck set up to fight these guys? Pyrophobia, Frost breath, and Razor Snowflake are a given. But from the looks of it we need to carefully choose our equipment and techniques if we're to have a shot at killing this thing. The size of the Deck is an issue as well.

I'd say it all depends on how hit points carry over when they separate and combine. From the looks of it, when they're separated they're only vulnerable to Etheric and cold-type attacks. When they're combined they're vulnerable to melee (and presumably ranged) techniques.

So the optimal deck setup, assuming there's a shared pool of hit points that carries over when they change form, would be to have a mix of etheric and physical attacks, and a lot of them. If they reset their hit points then you want a ton of etheric and evasion.

First of hopefully not that many

…and one where I gave up and used a bunch of random techniques. I also used a dangerous firework, gold firework, and twin firework right after using the twisted ones and before fighting them. Spoiler: nothing dealt major damage, though etheric fire attacks did do 10 and 8 damage to the emerald serpent.

You fire a microrocket. It homes in on the emerald serpent and explodes in a brilliant display of light, dealing 4 damage.

And with 6 fire power, I managed to do 11, 15, and 21 damage attacks to the emerald serpent! But not with frag grenade. I would suggest that none of the multi-targeting fire attacks will work. Perhaps they use the highest resistance of the two?

I give up. Obviously brute strength isn't enough to take this guy down. Here's a 27(!) round fight. Each serpent is taken down three times, with enough damage to take down the other serpent at least twice, but they never stayed down.

I do not think you can fight these anywhere; probably just the waterfront. Certainly not the dockside sewers, nor probably anywhere underground. Worse, summoning them then spending time in the sewers prevents these from showing up at all, even when you return to the waterfront.

I know that you can definitely fight these in The Quad. So yeah, it's probably underground sections that exclude it.
