Pointed out a potential continuity error in the description, which should now have received an (er) clarificatory update… but trying to uprade my defense system to see the new text would be a bad idea. Could someone with the multiweapon update the wiki? Spasibo.

Not much of a change there … "They" are Zaibatsu, basically.

I have had this equipped continuously for several days and many fights now and have yet to learn any instances of Zalian Shot. My deck has been mostly Release the Hounds, Gas Grenade technique, Acid Splash, and Dynamite technique (I'm hoping to get the Art of War conduct). So maybe the problem is that I haven't been using much of any Ranged? Another possibility is that I haven't learned any instances of the Zalian Blade technique, which might be a prerequisite.

I think I didn't start getting Zalian Shot until I clicked the use link (on the multiweapon) at least once.

So maybe you have to know at least one instance of Zalian Shot already to learn more from fighting with the multiweapon?

I spent a short time trying to get Zalian Shot to spade its power this run. I know that I hadn't used the system/multiweapon before this run.

With it equipped, attacking at the 4 turret slags gate, I got:

(3 fights? possibly more earlier) -> Upgrade to System
1 fight
1 fight, You learned a new Technique: Zalian Blade
1 fight
1 fight
1 fight, You learned a new Technique: Zalian Blade
1 fight
1 fight
1 fight
1 fight, You learned a new Technique: Zalian Blade
1 fight
1 fight

These were all at the gate, so I was using rain of bullets, frag grenade and misc other ranged techniques.
