I watched a bunch of times with the Experienced Observer skill and didn't get anywhere.

Made an attempt to capture it with Fae Blessing, but it failed. So there must be something else to it.

I have Reflexes 31(24) and Perception 47(49)

Same as above: failed to capture the fairy with Perception: 24 (29) and Reflexes: 15 (19). Fae Blessing was active (2). Perhaps you need more? Anyway, since the condition is unknown, I'm tagging this as needs spading.
