Text is from rescuing the Dock Worker from the 4 Dock Security. It's a bit different from what's on the page. Sentence in question in bold.

You patch up the dock hand after the fight, preventing him from bleeding out on the docks. When he eventually awakens he clasps you by the shoulder. "You, you really saved my bacon there. Here… take this. It's all I got to thank you with. My old lucky hat. Or so I thought."

He forces the hat into your hands, smiling as widely as he can manage.

I have killed Officer Stone. Nothing special that I notice from patrolling around in gang warfare with Stone's beatstick and his custom flak jacket equipped, either with the agenda set to Vigilante Justice or Shakedown, while using a Melee deck (including Brutality and Throttle). Maybe after roll I'll try adding in some Etheric techs too.

Also, fwiw, didn't notice anything from using a massive hunting knife here either.

EDIT: Had more time to play than I had anticipated. Also nothing for using a mix of melee and Etheric techniques with Stone's gear equipped, either shaking down or doing vigilante justice.

I started getting the sorcerer+2 third eye ganger fight after killing 10 third eye gangers today. Only tested from the combat encounter, but I imagine that various choice encounter fights would help too.

(Got 10 TEG, 11 Dock Security, 11 Ghouls in that time. I don't think the "Becomes less frequent if you help the guards in the Problems on the Docks quest and accept the guard's reward?" text is correct for saving the security guard, unless it's subtle.)

I think given how many encounters there are on the waterfront it probably does make sense to split them up a bit. I'm not sure how I feel about this particular arrangement, though. I think the groupings all make sense, I'm just not sure how I feel about handling encounters that are found as part of a quest and then go away, versus encounters that get unlocked and then stick around permanently (or mostly so).

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. The Waterfront Struggles just has so many encounters I wanted to group those, but I agree it would be nice for the semi-"permanent" encounters all together near the top.
