^ Eh? Did that change shortly thereafter? Mag has a combat log from 3 Dec 2010 over at the Flickering Guard discussion page, and he has a round 5 technique with this combat text:

You call a serpentine mass of crystal and emerald flame from your crystal horn. It strikes at the warrior, dealing 36 damage, but the warrior's armor turns aside all but 25 damage.

Which I can only assume is Release the Hounds, but none of this cool inspiring horn interaction made it onto the wiki! Man, it was already weird enough that I hadn't explored such old HERALD content, but now it turns out I've been missing out on HOUND content at the same time?

That technique was Channel Inspiration, with Inspired Imagination active and this item equipped, not Release the Hounds. I just re-checked, and neither that technique nor Unleash Spider works with the full Emerald Meditation outfit equipped (as you'd expect, since toting the horn means you can't have a tome of binding equipped).
