Could drinking orange juice unlock finding a Lost Hook at the secret fishing spot at the docks? I found one today after drinking OJ yesterday. Then I went to the portrait gallery with a parasol and didn't get any parasol techniques.

Edit: Nevermind. I picked up Open Parasol after unequipping my portrait guidebook. False alarm.
Edit2: On the other hand, I received the Open Parasol adventure twice, even though I only drank one orange juice yesterday. Either orange juice charges are bankable or learning Open Parasol doesn't use a charge. Hmm!

When I discovered Open Parasol, I managed to get four instances of it with only one OJ drunk the previous day. I think it's safe to say charges aren't involved at all with OJ.

I still think this Orange Juice charge idea to be bogus. Orange Juice doesn't last the entirety of the next day so what probably happened is Mag did one thing within the time frame and the other outside it.

I drank OJ several days ago and just got Walk With the Blind from watching TV. I played a decent number of turns in the intervening time, too. So it seems likely that the unlocking effect of the OJ persisted until it could be triggered by something.

If you are crazy enough to chug 21 of these at once as per the multi-use message, prepare to be extremely sad. There is no special effect.

Drank 40, waited a day.

-reading Quantum Mechanics, already have skill, nothing new
-arcane tongue, OJ message, but nothing new
-watched TV, got the normal Blind Legion message twice (no book)… hm…
-looked at parasol painting, got non-OJ message….

No evidence of overdose… but half my attempts don't even recognize that I drank OJ at all! Seems to disprove "charges", since I would have 40. Could be the OJ effect ended partway through the day, but that's both bizarre and unlikely (since I did these all in a row). Does Arcane Tongue use up all the OJ effect in your system but the parasol portrait doesn't? Bleh.

New run, have not touched any of the paths for any of the skills/events that occur from drinking OJ sample. Drank 1, waited a day.

-Read a Legion Tract, got the message specifically related to drinking OJ the day before.
-Read Quantum Mechanics twice after adventuring seven times to buy the book itself, did not get message related to OJ. Instead, got the standard, "fell asleep, regain hp and 1 xp".

Will test again next reset.
