So, going back to the Echo Chamber with an echo capacitor in hand:
Someone was nice enough to leave instructions here, which is good… because you need to encode data on special capacitors and insert it into the "chamber."
You have data that looks like it might be compatible.
Then a dropdown which listed relay code, security patches, security updater, viral code, viral mass, then a box to enter a quantity, then a 'run' button.
I tried tossing in some relay code and got:
You try to echo out Golden Chip relay code for quite a while, but never find anywhere it'll spread. On the bright side, the capacitors don't seem to have burned out.
Then I tried throwing in 10 security patches and got:
You echo security patches out and reach Johansen's Five Star Processing of Tomorrow, NMC Advertisement and Marketing, and Live Advertising.
And a security updater:
You echo self-updating security systems out and reach Peters's Ramblings, Malachi Vidal's Modules of the Future, and Sari's Services.
I have no clue what it's doing, but if I had to guess, those sites may have become harder to hack, or resistant to being relayed away. Some of them were infected, and they remain so. I imagine the anti-viral patch is probably also code that can be echoed out, but I didn't have any of those on hand.
