Why does this list viral injector as limited time?
And why list viral formatter if not viral mass or other derivatives of it?

Because the wiki is maintained by a very small number of fallible human beings?

I would imagine the viral items were added when the virus event was just starting (before anybody had gotten a viral mass yet) and then nobody went back and looked at the page later on when more virus stuff was discovered, or when we discovered that viral code was, in principle, a renewable resource.

Yeah, I was going on the assumption that viral code is not limited and the viral masses are, and just fucked up when colourizing stuff. (I thought the injector has a mass in it for some reason.)

To answer your other question (not very helpfully), I don't recall ever getting a mass after the event. Doesn't seem to be anything listed on the formatted site page, though I guess I wouldn't be surprised if it was a rare drop.
