With 8 Bonus Eclipse Duration I got 13 energy of ocean sight from this, and my hunger went from 33 to 40. Since I capped out I can't be sure if it was a straight increase with Eclipse Duration, but it doesn't seem too farfetched, especially since taking another one in the same day didn't get me any hunger at all, after I dropped myself down to 20.
With 10 Hunger, 8 Eclipse Duration, and a toxic crystal equipped, I only regained 4 hunger. Prior to drinking it, I did not have any Etheric effect active.
EDIT: With 10 Hunger, 9 Eclipse Duration, 80 energy of Fae Sight, and an Eclipse Sapphire in place of the toxic crystal, I got…4 hunger. Hrm.
Day 1:
(If I remember correctly, yesterday, I had the same setup as below, plus Ease and porous crystal and Midgard Player (twisted Harmony), for 11 (+5) ED. Had about 60 turns of Fae Sight. Went from 8 to 19 hunger(?) Not sure exactly my starting hunger, but I definitely gained 11.)

With 11 Hunger, 7 ED, went to 15, and gained 12 energy of Fae Sight

Whoa, I completely missed the (ancient) discovery that this gave hunger. Based on the wiki page (1 hunger/eclipse duration), this+good sushi can be a big improvement over cut nova, even after crafting.
…Alas, the data on this page is much more pessimistic, so good thing I came here I guess. Sometimes people are getting a great ratio, though — so what's the formula?
