That's strange. I defeated one of these with a tome of binding (that fight was not logged below) but didn't get the technique. Is that intentional? EDIT: people in chat say it only works half the time

In the beginning, men were mortal.
Some weirdness going on with the tiny legs attack — sometimes it rears up, sometimes it crawls on me, sometimes it bites through my chest. It seemed that the crawling form was for being opposed, and the other two were always unopposed, but just got this round too. Anyone notice a pattern? The non-etheric drone version uses this attack too which I have only seen two forms of.
EDIT: related to being at short distance maybe?

The opponents testing page says the centipedes have the taking-eclipse-flag (eg. responds to Voice of Wrath or Staring Charm). Can anyone confirm this? It seems odd the centipedes would but the spiders would not.
