Whether you get the bitter sweet or salvage message seems independent of the post batch message and/or view amount and/or code finesse. I got bitter sweet the first time and then I've been getting only the salvage one every time since (with high and low view, high and zero cf, and with all three messages (almost human sculpture, temple, mosaic).
