You're welcome! EDIT: The page is now up to date. I checked the 5 costume encounters, their discussion pages, their edit histories, and the forum discussions for Halloween 2009, 2012, 2013 (which is all I could find). If anyone besides me tried out new costumes this year, they should add it to the "failed costume" section.
Discoveries of note
- The Bum outfit results are weird. It didn't exist in 2010, but in every year since it has had 2 different results. This year, assuming this got recorded correctly, one of those was something about corpse outfits, which just sounds like a bug.
- A few costumes haven't been worn since Jess took over, which is when many of the costume responses changed: Third Eye, Vampire, and Vigilante.
- Three costumes were tested unsuccessfully before they became costumes: Achromaton, Bum, and Midgard Worker (the last one helped by new equipment)
- The costumes that get tried unsuccessfully year after year are: Sailor, Birdsuit, Diver, and Aristocrat
- Only two effects has been successfully discovered to be part of a costume: Industrial Mohawk, for the punk outfit, and Dripping with Gore (or, probably, Fake Blood) for either a Mad Doctor outfit or possibly an addition to any outfit. (Writhing Flesh for the ratty suit & Achromatic Glow for the "Achromaton" are possibilities that probably won't ever get tested, since the equipment alternatives are less wasteful.) This is probably an area worth exploring next year.
Also, I highly recommend checking out the Halloween 2009 thread. It's great looking back at the original arguments knowing where they all lead. (Poor Argeth, not wanting to party in a "bombed out druggie shelter".)
