It occurs to me that if you need Etheric Defense in order to fight Saber, it would be possible now to hit the Hall of Sculptures now and get this effect. It wouldn't be speedrun-fast, but it's probably a more reliable alternative than going to the Midgard Warehouse and hoping to find a prototype vest.
