I spent ~2 days worth of energy yesterday trying to get this with no success yet. Now I got it after ~15 energy today, with

Hat: Integrated Rams helmet
Weapon: sashimi knife
Offhand: heavy riot shield
Shirt: coat of defensive circuitry
Pants: achromatic slacks
Gadget: Cyberbowl chipdeck
Slags Poisoning (1)
Sugar Rush (2)
Ocean Song (2)

F:Rat King
C:You dodge away from the rats, your coat positioning itself as a shield.#The rats rush you and swarm around you. The rats' bites do 2 damage, but you catch all of the damage with your coat.##You line up a powerful strike, crushing the rats for 13 damage.#The rats wait until the last moment, then leap into you, dealing 1 damage.##

(Crypto reports getting this with sashimi knife(?), brutality, crushing punch and some chain 4 move I forget, vs. Bat Swarm.)

I had a lot of luck getting some instances of the tech in the sewer with some melee techs and a sashimi knife. The tech only triggered against the rat kings for me while I was down there.

I just got this technique after fighting a rat king with the blade of the snows equipped, and no melee techs used at all. So it's just using a knife against this particular enemy?

I also got this technique from the rat king (after 2 fights) with a knife equipped (though I did use melee techniques). From what I'm seeing here, the requirement is simply: "fight rat king with a knife weapon equipped". Should we update the page?

Trying to disprove that rat king is the only enemy that gives this technique:

• Killing Angered/Cornered Rats with melee with knife equipped doesn't do anything
• Nothing for using Knife against them.

(I have 1 instance of Downwards stab known; for most of this testing it was also in my deck.)
