Aw I missed the podcast questioning. I should've sucked it up yesterday instead of deciding to go to sleep first.
Thanks a bunch for the podcast Kinak!
Re: Starting decks after a reset. For the last couple times, I've had 5 Dive for Cover and no other techniques in my hand when I reset — I probably had some Dive for Cover in my deck before I reset, but no other techniques that match. I did find it a bit confusing at first, but always switch out my starting deck to Ranged or Melee only before I start fighting anyway, so not a big deal.
Hm, the discussion at the end makes me wonder how many wonder many NPCs we'll meet who have neural links installed? And if they do, how feasible it would be to hack into their comms and send them bogus signals? Maybe Midgard has the right idea for not trusting chips. Neural assassins? Ugh, and judging by things like the berserk chip, it's possible to alter emotions at a general level at least. …how many more years until we have Dollhouse-like personality zappers?
Looking forward to the Midgard Player revamp. I wonder if it will be any easier to find those last four(?) songs now…
A: There are some ways to get more [spider drones] than I think people realize. But no particular rush on the webbed building.
Mag, I think we can still bind the one in the warehouse without restriction, can't we? EDIT: Or does it go away at the end of the day, or for good? I don't recall.
PS. Kinak, you read, but didn't answer, the following. Do care to answer if we have more mask items to find or are the "original" masks just referring to the non-combat encounters?
When you say "hid more masks in the museum", does that imply that some mask items were available from the start?
Puzzle-box/tablet connections.
Is drone-signature guy also Lo's old boss that died in the slags incident? He invented some maid drones (HD series?) at least, and "Most of their [other] drones are still based off his designs and he didn't even like robotics."
Lo implies that the puzzle box was designed by the same guy, though no indication of whether the puzzle box was actually produced before he died.
I'm almost certain it must have been one of our old boss's designs before he died. It definitely looks likeā¦ a lot of the work he did himself.
The origins of the tablet — from a book:
Language didn't matter, just lines and curves. She couldn't read a word on the tablet, just copying it from the book she'd been given. But it was good work and, heaven knows, she couldn't be picky about that. Rich patrons didn't fall out of the sky every day, especially ones this rich.
Hmmmmm……
I'll take a look into the starting tech thing, thanks!
Edit: That should be good now.

You just need to travel back to last Thursday night so you can… ask some questions :)

Not mask items, no.
Cheers!

I just put two and two together and realized that the Midgard Player is due to rotate in next season. You said on the podcast that you want to have it updated to work with Novos while it's in season. So I'm just wondering about the timetable here. Is your plan:
(2) to wait until the Novos Net and the Midgard Player revamp are ready to go and then kick off the new season by releasing the new unearthly item in one massive contentgasm or:
(B) to release the new unearthly item first, with the intent to rolling the Novos Net and the MP update mid-season sometime?
In either case, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate. (I know there's a ton of content in the Midgard Player, and that's only the stuff we have have found.) Thanks for all your hard work on this and the rest of the game.
