Didn't on 10 Dec 2011, I add the result for ink extract? I have no idea why that didn't survive the reformatting of that page.
Yes, and even Crypto himself analyzed octopus ink back in November 2011, according to the protein analyzer edit history (though maybe post-quest). The contact pages revamp was a complete pain, to be fair.

We've had the result for handing Lo ink extract for ages, because if you choose him as your contact you can continue to give him samples post-run. What we didn't have was the result for giving it to him in-run, and have him mentioning it in the status updates for the first three samples you give him. E.g., fine hound dust gets referred to as a 'crystalline sample'. So now it's confirmed that ink extract is referred to as an 'ink sample'.
I'm glad someone got lead in. I sent Kinak a bug report when I made the bullets and got messed up results. However, I'm pretty new to wiki editing, and I haven't been able to figure out how to add the information.
Thanks for bug reporting!
Here's a quick guide to making the Lead Shot page, if you'd like to tackle it (and no one else gets to it first):
- Visit [http://wiki.metroplexity.com/lead-shot] and click Create Page.
- Click the "Initial Content" drop-down menu near the top of the screen, right underneath the title.
- Select "NPC Techniques." (We haven't made a template for player techniques, but this is close enough.)
- Fill out the Chain, Type, Attribute, and Base Damage values in between the last two || || marks, copying them from the in-game description. (Click Preview if you're not sure you're putting them in the right place.) Add Special if there's any text there, or just delete the whole row.
- Use the technique in combat and add the Combat Message, if you want to go above and beyond.
- Under Sources, replace "NPC only" with "Lead Bullets"
- Delete the "Used by Opponents" section
Don't worry too much about mistakes, as other wiki users can clean them up easily. (I haven't told you how to change the image yet, for instance, although I can if you're interested.)
These templates are a pretty awesome way to get used to wiki formatting. If you like, you can mess around on an "unofficial" page like fred-cassidy or sandbox.
Another method I recommend while learning or to save time is to visit an existing page of the same type (in this case a technique like Project Skull), click "Edit", and copy the entire page. Paste it onto the page you want to make, and change the information to match without messing with the surrounding wiki formatting code.

On a similar topic. Is there any method of getting a combat log other than copy-paste to notepad, which I tend to make a mess of?
Select "NPC Techniques." (We haven't made a template for player techniques, but this is close enough.)
(There is a normal Techniques template by the way.)
(Also re: greasemonkey — it doesn't seem to work in the latest version of safari (which I use) so I haven't updated any gm script for quite a while.)

Thanks, Al, I did think that was very strange. I'm not used to Firefox's (or maybe it's my updated OS's) new invisible scroll bars, so I didn't try to scroll down past "Skills."
