What?? That's the end of that chain?! But, there is only one reasonable place to look for results earlier in the chain. And that would be to somehow meet all the conditions before even going into the Slags.
AND THUS THE CHALLENGE WAS SET FORTH. AND ARKAIM TOOK UP ITS MANTLE
This would be the end all, be all of hacking spades. To do this I would have to somehow get the Lotus Map without ever entering the Slags. Which would mean no salvaging kit. Which would mean no gold processors. Which would mean no mimetic gear or twitch visors or memory sidearms or even, as I would learn later MUCH to my despair, no Efficient Hacking. My initial goals were as follows:
- Have PvP areas controlled regularly in order to have efficient energy gains with Blitz Popppers
- pay David up the bum for all the necessary hardware and oldos code modules
- play with Novos enough to unlock the Golden Chip
- get a source of neural link
- get efficient hacking
- get viral code modules for Antiviral Patching
- Get Lotus Map
No one knows if it would even be possible to get Lotus Map before the Slags after Novos is fully implemented. No one can be sure when Novo will be fully implemented but it certainly will be before the Puzzle Box rotates back into season. So I had to act immediately
This is the story of what may be my hardest spade ever. It involved the cooperation of more people than I imagine have ever cooperated on a spade before. This thread is to do justice for all the effort that was put into this to make this happen. A little sidenote sandwiched between History of Optics messages and Dancing Mists in the New Discoveries page just isn't enough. This will be the story of all the struggles and hardships and mistakes and setbacks and comradery and cooperation that made it all happen.
