Offense 1-4? | The guardian seems to expect your attack, turning the worst of it aside and absorbing the rest. | [Batch Unsubtle+4]
Offense ≥ 5-6? | The guardian saw your attack coming, but that didn't ultimately save it under your onslaught. By the time you're done, nothing remains of it but scattered data. | ? | Gain 3 XP, removes routine |

You carefully shield your batch from the guardian, catching it offguard… but the batch still isn't strong enough to bring it down. | ?
Defense ≥ 2, Offense ≥ 3 |
You carefully shield your intentions from the guardian before launching a surprise attack, reducing it to scattered data. | Very low?
Command ≥ 1 | You command the guardian stand down. It doesn't seem interested in complying with the request. | [Batch Unsubtle+1]
Command ≥ 1 with a Drunk Effect, sometimes | You send a drunken command to the avatar apologizing for your behavior. She… it, laughs. You're almost too surprised to be insulted. |

Command ≥ 1 with a Drunk Effect, sometimes | You send a drunken command to the avatar apologizing for your behavior. She… it, nods politely and shuts down. Wait, what? |

View | This appears to be a fairly sophisticated filtering program. Although the icon is highly stylized, the code underneath is solid, definitely showing equal devotion to form and function. In theory, these sorts of programs don't do much on their own, instead gathering information so that the system can prevent certain functions from being used effectively. In practice, your options will quickly become quite limited if you can't defuse the situation somehow. |

Other | The guardian peers at your batch with the interest of a mortician about to make the first incision. | ? |

Nothing.
Otherwise, if you used Defense:
The strangely-dressed guardian routine attempts to get the details of your batch, but only catches <one function used in batch> through your defenses.
(Possibly block some of your functions in your hand?, no unsubtle increase)
