You find your way to great stand of seaweed, growing its way up from the lakebed. It stretches up in thick strands, reaching almost to the surface.

1. Grab some seaweed - Gain some damp seaweed or fight a foreign shark if you are below 50% HP or Dripping With Gore (not 100% chance)
2. Catch some fish - Gain fish if you have a speargun or hunting spear or fight a foreign shark if <50% HP or Dripping With Gore (not 100% chance)
3. Search the seaweed - Gain some of: wetsuit pants, wetsuit top, wetsuit fabric, rebreather mask, kid's flippers or fight a foreign shark if you are below 50% HP or Dripping With Gore (not 100% chance)
4. Leave it - Walk away

Grab some seaweed

You make your way through the patch of seaweed, collecting a bundle for later. It's kind of soothing, in its own way.

As you part the curtain of seaweed, looking for choice bits to harvest, a massive shape surges towards you through the blood-tinted water.

(Fight a foreign shark - gain 4-5 shark teeth if you win and have a Myers sampling kit equipped)

Catch some fish

With a fishing spear equipped:

You put the hunting spear to its intended purpose, stalking fish among the seaweed. It's actually kind of fun, you can see why they catch them this way rather than giant nets or rods.

By the time you're done, you get it at least a little bit.

With a speargun equipped:

You stalk through the seaweed, picking off a handful of fish with your speargun. It's actually kind of fun, certainly more interesting than normal target practice.

If you haven't yet found any wetsuit pieces:

You find a human body tangled in the seaweed near the lakebed. It's been rotting down here for too long to guess a real cause of death, but half of its scuba gear is torn to shreds, so it probably wasn't pleasant.

Otherwise:

You take a while searching through the seaweed, eventually finding something curious tangled near the lakefloor.
