Intro (initially)
We were wondering if perhaps you could do us a favor?
What do you want?
Third Eye is on the Waterfront, telling the workers that only they can keep them safe. We keep them plenty safe, but Third Eye has special skills. If you could help in that area, maybe the workers will know Third Eye aren't the only option.
Who do you work for?
I represent some Families. We heard of your work with Fangs, thought you might like to help with the Third Eye.
You mean the Mafia?
What's your deal?
I'll help
Let me think
Not for your family
You mean the Mafia?
Mafia? I guess. Back in the day, everybody was Mafia. Bratva? Russian Mafia. Yakuza? Japanese Mafia. Triads? Chinese Mafia.
Some of the Families used to be real Mafia… old blood. But they'd be angry if you you called us all Mafia and you don't want them angry.
Anyway, Mafia or not, we want Third Eye gouged out. You interested?
What's your deal?
The Families… well, some go way back. We came from different countries, drawing lines between them, fighting each other. It was all about the blood, you know?
Then the corps came and the Orbital Wars. Most of us… everyone but those Yakuza fuckers, really, sided with the nations.
We lost a lot of people in the wars. Too many to stay apart… now what's left of the Families work together, against people like Third Eye and Fangs.
If you want to push back on docks, just let me know.
I'll help / Sure
Fantastic. The dock workers have been saying there's something lurking in the crates they're getting. Think Third Eye lurking. Check with the workers if you need more details.
Keep an eye out for those crates, better us than Third Eyes, right?
(End of conversation)
Not in helping the mafia / Not for your family / I'd rather be Corp
Won't turn me down in person, but will slap me in the face over the comm? The Fangs must have been softer than we thought.
(End of conversation)
Maybe later
Shame. Let me know if you change your mind.

Intro (after accepting quest)
Nice to hear from you. What do you want to talk about?
Who you work for
The Docks
Nothing for now (End of conversation)
Or, after asking about who they are?:
Nice to hear from you. What do you want to talk about?

Anything about Midgard HQ (After getting access to Downtown)

Who you work for
It's not so much "work for," it's who I'm related to. We call ourselves the Families… not very creative, but gets the point across.
Tell me about them
Like the mafia
Thanks
The Families / Tell me about them
Well, they're Families from all over the world. Back before the Orbital Wars, they fought over territory and who's from where and all that. They believed that where you came from matters, not just who's signing your pay check.
So they came together during the wars… fought against the corps and, well, the corps sure as fuck didn't lose.
So, there aren't enough of us left to fight each other… and the corps and the zeds… and still make a living. So we're all Family together until we get this shit sorted out.
(End of conversation)
(After completing Waterfront Struggles (including accepting award from dockhands) and defeating Third Eye Seer)
We're all family until this gets sorted out, the corporations and the zeds breathing down everyone's necks. But we've got a couple things they don't: we haven't forgotten the old ways.
Speaking of which, let me give you a couple pointers. If you can build your own weapons, you can always get the edge.
You've learned a new Skill: Family Weaponry
The Mafia
Everyone calls the Families "Mafia." Some of the Families are old Mafia, but most aren't.
Sometimes you just have to accept people being wrong, you know?
(End of conversation)
The Docks
The workers still want some help with those strange crates, that they think only Third Eye can watch over. If you want to help, you should start there.
(End of conversation)
Or, after helping the dock workers:
Good work on those Third Eye. Way I figure, you deserve a little something.
or, if you killed the Third Eye Sorcerer on the docks before Grigori asked you to help:
Good work on those Third Eye. I was going to ask you to help, so sent over a reward.I like to melt down some polysteel to stud it with nails, like back in the old days.
You've learned a new quest recipe: Personal Nailbat - Make some Polysteel nails to stud your Enforcement Bat
Additionally, you get a private message:

Oldtown
(Before completing Waterfront Struggles?)
Oldtown is family territory from way back. Hopefully, we can keep it that way.
(End of conversation)
(First time after speaking to Hawk about Oldtown?)
Oldtown is Family territory from way back… before the Orbital Wars. The work crews there have always known who protects them, but some construction workers are starting to listen to the Third Eye.
Those crazy bastards are pushing in everywhere…
I'm not sure if I should be sad or proud, but we can't match their madness. If you think you can, challenge them on their own ground.
Prove you're even crazier and they should leave our workers alone.
(End of conversation)
(After defeating Third Eye Seer)
Well, the Third Eye don't have much claim there anymore, thanks to your work. They probably have other operations there, but we've always made the point of letting people run their own business as long as it doesn't get into ours.
Hopefully they learned the lesson you worked so hard to teach them. Speaking of which, have this token of the Family's appreciation.
You gained 250 credits!
Anything about Midgard HQ?
Before completing Waterfront Struggles:
That's a big ask. I might know a guy who can help you out, but he's only interested in helping folks who help us.
It's a give and take.
(End of conversation)
After completing Waterfront Struggles:
Ah, that's a hell of a target. We used to own most of downtown, but you'll want someone who knows the place. I'm not that guy.
We've got a cousin, though. Well, a Family member. Solid guy. He does good work, keeps his mouth shut, and knows which end of a gun gets pointed at the other guy.
That kind of help ain't cheap, but he's got more credits than he needs anyway. He'll probably want to cut a deal.
He's probably at the cathedral downtown. Scowling guy with a beard and a dress shirt, you shouldn't be able to miss him.
(End of conversation)
After (peacefully?) completing Help From The Family
I hear good things, like you're helping out the family. It's a good look.
We may not look it now, but the Families built this city, long before Midgard or any of that. Hah… anyway, their headquarters is built on the bones of an older building, just an old parking garage and a storage level now.
But that means there should be some connection to that storage without walking through the lobby like an idiot. Old blueprints burned up with the buildings, but let me know if you need help getting anything working. We've still got some handy guys.
Intro (if you sided with the Third Eye)
Got rid of the Fangs, just to let Third Eye take over. I suppose that's just the way sometimes.

Your comm beeps repeatedly, but never connects.
Intro (After killing 5 Family enforcers)
Your comm beeps repeatedly, but never connects. Odd… perhaps he got angry you kept killing the other family members.
First time. Subsequent times it goes to the same result as refusing to help.
Intro (After killing Old Cathedral Family folks, if Grigori has mentioned them to you)
