Halloween Crates

Encounter Conditions

Only during Halloween 2010, after getting the Crate Status noncombat

Ah, this must be what all those fundraising buckets they're selling are for. They certainly managed to get a lot of crates with them.

It's harder to guess why they skimped on delivery, though. The dorms are clear across the Quad. At least it's not the museum, but still.

Help move them

You haul the crates one by one over to the dorms. Damn, that takes a lot out of you.

Somebody else can take those downstairs. You're cashed.

Steal some

Hey, these crates are filled with all sorts of exciting stuff. You've got polysteel pellets, paper mache (the craft store kind), and even some electrical wiring.

On second thought, it's not really that exciting. You grab a couple things off the top and slip away before anyone notices, though.

You found: 3 of thick cabling, polysteel, paper mache

Hmmmm, looks like you're not the first one to have that idea. You end up getting the dregs of the crate, skimming more off the bottom than the top.

You found: 2 piles of paper mache

Destroy them

You break apart the crate and scatter its contents over the Quad. That'll teach 'em to clean up after a riot.

You've earned 3 XP in Strength

Search them

Hmmm, you actually don't find much, just the building supplies you'd expect. It's always best to check, though.

You've earned 4 XP in Perception

or, if someone has put eclipse in the crates?

You search through the crate. Ah, here we go, mixed in with the polysteel. Damn that's a lot of Eclipse.

Someone clearly wasn't planning on remembering the party.

You found: 16-18 tablets of Eclipse

You've earned 3 XP in Perception

Add a handful of Eclipse

You mix a handful of Eclipse in with the polysteel pellets. They're about the same size, so nobody will find them unless they're really looking.

Leave them
