Outline
Overview
Your goal is to infiltrate the top floor of Midgard HQ. The Midgard HQ building can be entered via the Parking Garage or through the main HQ Lobby. There are many paths to navigate the building.
- Freight elevator will take you from Parking Garage to Maintenance Storage (once fixed).
- Lobby stairs will take you from Parking Garage to Lobby.
- Security guard will also escort you to Lobby in some conditions.
- Heating ducts will take you from Maintenance Storage to:
- Lobby
- Call Center
- Midgard HQ Elevator will take you to various floors automatically, depending on ID badge equipped:
- Maintenance Storage (Janitor ID)
- Lobby (…)
- Call Center (Call Center ID etc)
- Executive Floor(?) (Executive ID)
Parking Garage navigation
- Lobby Stairwell — access to Lobby after some time? (x turns spent or garage exploration?)
- Get Inside — with HQ Alarm ≥ 1 and any downtown ID badge equipped.
Freight Elevator Repair
Find the elevator
- Need 10 parking garage exploration points:
- Lonely Garage +1 point, or, with Help From The Family quest, +? points
- Mushroom Forest of the Garage: Follow the lights: some exploration?
Fix elevator
- Call Grigori:
- Complete Help From The Family.
- Talk to Grigori about Midgard HQ.
- Chained Freight Elevator: Call Grigori: Unlocks and fixes elevator.
or, do both of:
- Unlock the Chained Freight Elevator:
- Shoot (with automatic weapon and Clustered Shot)
- Hammer (with hammer weapon)
- Pry (with crowbar weapon)
- Use 5 Powerful Acid
- Use 1 Aqua Regia
- Fix the Unchained Freight Elevator:
- Check the situation - learn Elevator Controls recipe: two Signal Analysis Circuits, some Thick Cabling, and a Large Motor.
- Craft and replace the Elevator Controls to fix elevator.
Either way, once the elevator is fixed:
Maintenance Storage
- You can climb the vents of the Behemoth Furnace.
- Turn down the heat (x3), or have sufficient Fire Defense.
- Climb once to get out to the lobby.
- Climb further and fight Duct Drone/Duct Spider to get out at the Call Center.
HQ Lobby
Aquire Visitor ID
- Pickpocket or fight the Fashionable Exec to gain downtown visitor ID.
- Learn about Wojcik:
- In the Old Cathedral, talk to the Professionally Dressed Man:
- First talk about work in the Priest Outfit to learn about Eurasia.
- Then talk about Eurasia in the Office Worker Outfit to learn the name Wojcik.
- In the Old Cathedral, talk to the Professionally Dressed Man:
- (Maybe not required?) Mingle with the Fashionable Exec to learn more about Wojcik.
- Take the elevator to the Executive Floor and use the visitor badge + knowledge of Wojcik to get in.
Call Center
Access
- Crawl through the vents from Maintenance Storage (turn down heat and fight Duct Spider/Duct Drone).
- Take elevator:
- Parking Garage's Came To The Wrong Neighborhood can give call center ID through intimidation or combat.
- A Midgard Manager in the Old Cathedral can give a downtown manager ID for Call Center access once you access the elevator.
Aquire Executive ID
- Gain access to the Director's Office:
- Locate the office by:
- Talking to the Broad Chested Headset Man dressed as a janitor.
- Or, hack the Call Center Computer's Sales Assistant program.
- Break through, trick the scanner with electrical kit, or swipe a downtown manager ID.
- Locate the office by:
- Get a downtown executive ID by one of:
- Call the Ghosts (complete Ghostly Aid quest) in the office.
- Or, hack the Management Desktop in the office and schedule a meeting with the executive:
- Then pickpocket ID or do a very hard fight with Assistant Vice President (male)
Executive Floor
Access
- Requires either downtown visitor ID or downtown executive ID
- More details to come
Help from the locals
Note: The Families and Third Eye cannot both help.
Ghosts
Complete the Ghostly Aid quest. In the Call Center's Director's office, the Ghosts will give you a downtown executive ID.
Families
Complete the Help From The Family quest. Talk to Grigori about downtown and he will help unlock the Chained Freight Elevator in the Parking Garage.
Third Eye
Complete the Third Eye's Aid quest.
Yakuza
Complete the Yakuza Job quest, then talk to Sato. Once you give him 3 items he will agree to help with Midgard Tower. If the Executive Alert gets too high, the Yakuza will cause a distraction.
