Intro (Before choosing a fund)

(2011:)

Okay, there's a lot to talk about, so I'm just sort of going to start and you can stop me whenever you want.

Since we don't have Midgard funding this year, we need to get revenue somehow. I got… convinced to handle it all. Basically, we've got all this great stuff that we're selling for… well, more than it's worth, but the proceeds go to fund the Halloween party.

There's some spirited debate about how the credits should be spent, so Emily split things up into different funds. We've got funds for decorations, candy, and punch, which I think are pretty self-explanatory.

We also have security to keep out the riff-raff, make sure that nobody gets anything into the punch, that sort of thing. Basic safety.

And… well, some of the fans of Emerald Gift, the creepy band they had play last year insisted we try to bring them. Their manager wants two and a half million credits at least a week before Halloween, though. So… I don't see that happening. If you want to chase the dream, though… I'm not stopping you.

Or, once enough funds were acquired:
And… well, some of the fans of Emerald Gift, the creepy band they had play last year insisted we try to bring them. They brought in the two and a half million credits the Emerald Gift wanted, so it looks like they'll be coming back this year!

I'll help with decorations
Candy sounds good
I can fund some punch
Security all the way
Emerald Gift forever!

I'll help with decorations

Alright, anything you buy now is going towards the decorations fund. Excellent choice, if I do say so myself… which I do.

Do you want to grab something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Candy sounds good

Oooooo, candy, excellent choice.

Do you want to grab something now? We have candy, you know. Mysterious candy from the four corners of… well, campus.

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

I can fund some punch

Punch it is! It's sort of a tradition and, well, if it can survive as a tradition after the whole thing <two/three> (for 2011/2012) years ago, more power to it.

Do you want to grab something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Security all the way

Very nice. Some good security should solve a lot of problems. Did you hear there were dozens of non-students sneaking around last year? With tickets and everything, it was ridiculous.

Do you want to grab something now? It's for a good cause.

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Emerald Gift forever!

Welll… I can't promise we'll get to two and a half million credits, but if we do, Emerald Gift it is. If not, Emily will probably tap it for the general fund.

Do you want to grab something now? Support your favorite band?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Intro (After choosing a fund)

Did you want to pick anything up?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Absolutely/I'll buy something

(If your current location is Metroplex U, go to Halloween Fundraisers, otherwise:)

That'd be great! Just come out to the Quad and I'll find you, easy as pie.

(End of conversation)

How are the funds?

(2011:)

Let me check real quick here…

(Under 100,000 cred decoration fund:)
We're working on decorations. The fund's at <x>, thanks mostly to DoctrZombie. (and, if you are currently set to donate to this fund) Anything you buy now is going for decorations. Excellent choice!

(Over 100,000 cred decoration fund:)
We're doing great on decorations! The fund's at <x>, thanks largely to DoctrZombie. It couldn't hurt to have even better decorations, though. Maybe we can get one of those animatronic dinosaurs!

(Over 100,000 cred decoration fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
Even with the Emerald Gift coming, we're doing great on decorations! The fund's at <x>, thanks largely to DoctrZombie. It couldn't hurt to have even better decorations, though. Maybe we can get one of those animatronic dinosaurs!

(Under 50,000 cred candy fund:)
We're starting to stockpile candy. We got <x> so far, thanks entirely to Barton26. (and, if you are currently set to donate to this fund) Anything you buy goes towards candy. Even if what you buy is other candy. Strange, I know.

(Over 50,000 cred candy fund:)
Candy looks pretty well covered! We're at <x>, thanks mostly to Mag. A little more candy never hurt anyone, though. Anything you buy goes towards candy. Even if what you buy is other candy. Strange, I know.

(Over 50,000 cred candy fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
Candy looks pretty well covered, even with the band! We're at <x>, thanks largely to Mag. A little more candy never hurt anyone, though.

(Under 50,000 cred punch fund:)
Some of the punch has been ordered. The fund's at <x> so far, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. (and, if you are currently set to donate to this fund) All your purchases are going towards the punch fund.

(Over 50,000 cred punch fund:)
Looks like we'll have all the punch we need! That totals to <x>, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. It might be nice to get more, though, in case we have to throw some out like last year.

(50,000-250,000 cred punch fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
Those Gift fans are a thirsty bunch… and we'll probably have to throw out a bunch when they try to spike things. The fund's at <x> so far, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic.

(Over 250,000 cred punch fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
I don't think even the Gift fans will need to drink more than that much punch, but I've been wrong before. We've got <x> so far, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic.

(Under 100,000 cred security fund:)
Emily's starting to interview guards, but we'll need some more credits to hire enough. The fund's at <x>, thanks mostly to Dennis. (and, if you are currently set to donate to this fund) Anything you buy now is going towards security. Thanks! It means I might actually be able to show up this year.

(Over 100,000 cred security fund:)
We should have plenty of guards! The fund totals to <x>, thanks to Thrillhouse for a lot of those. So unless something crazy happens, we should be good… we might want more, now that I think about it.

(100,000-400,000? cred security fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
Last year security was a little… lax, we should probably get some more after spending so much on the big name band, right? The fund totals to <x>, thanks to Argeth for a lot of those.

(Over 400,000 cred security fund, with Emerald Gift paid:)
Well, our big name band should be safe. The security fund totals to 400,600, thanks largely to Argeth. We might want some to protect everyone else, though.

(Under 2,500,000 cred Emerald Gift fund:)
We're still shy of the Emerald Gift's management's goal. The fund's at <x>, so we'd need <y> more. We only got this far thanks largely to heriodule. (and, if you are currently set to donate to this fund) This is where your purchases are going now, by the way.

(Over 2,500,000 cred Emerald Gift fund:)
The Emerald Gift is coming back! We got <x>, thanks to Sir Cheddar for a lot of those. We should probably starting thinking about a stage and decorations! This is where your purchases are going now, by the way.

(Or after October 26th, 2011)
Apparently, a friend of Emily's can chip in some lasers. How cool is that? We should probably step up our game with the Emerald Gift coming, but we got 13,500 so far, thanks mostly to Liasi. Anything you buy is going for this now. Thanks!

(And later above 1 million total)
(Under 1,000,000 cred total:)
And that's everything. It totals up to x if you're curious, thanks to everything people bought so far.

(On October 13, 2011)

And that's everything. Emily thinks that'll be enough to have a perfectly good party "as long as there aren't any disruptions."

(Over 1,000,000 cred total:)
And that's everything. It comes up to over a million! It's x if you're curious, but just wow.

(Over 4,000,000 cred total:)
But we have millions and millions of credits! It's insane! I mean, tell me x isn't crazy.

I'll buy something
I'll help with decorations
Candy sounds good
I can fund some punch
Security all the way
Emerald Gift forever!
Laser show!
Thanks (End of conversation)

Laser show!

Funding choice was added in later (After October 26th, 2011)

Yeah, Emily's big secret plan? Haunted house maze to get in with a laser show dance party once people get inside. If we get enough funding, we probably won't even have to charge a cover.

Everything for you now's going into the laser fund. Which, I think we can all agree, is the coolest fund.

So… do you want to grab something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Intro (Post Halloween)

Cube.jpg

Hello! I left this recording here so hopefully people won't keep asking me for the final tally, because it's right here.

Even with the Emerald Gift coming, we're doing great on decorations! The fund's at 513,020, thanks largely to DoctrZombie. There's plenty left. Animatronic dinosaur here we come!

Candy looks pretty well covered, even with the band! We're at 335,500, thanks largely to Mag. A little more candy never hurt anyone, though. Anything you buy goes towards candy. Even if what you buy is other candy. Strange, I know.

I don't think even the Gift fans will need to drink more than that much punch, but I've been wrong before. We've got 345,100 so far, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. There should be enough punch.

Well, our big name band should be safe. The security fund totals to 503,500, thanks largely to Thrillhouse. The guards are doing just fine.

The Emerald Gift is coming back! We got 2,575,950, thanks to Sir Cheddar for a lot of those. We should probably start thinking about a stage and decorations!

Apparently, a friend of Emily's can chip in some lasers. How cool is that? Oh yeah, Emerald Gift and lasers. Hell yeah. The laser fund's at 329,200 in donations, thanks mostly to Polygon.

And that's everything. Emily thinks that'll be enough to have a perfectly good party "as long as there aren't any disruptions."

That's what I'm worried about, though. Last year they had hundreds of barrels of punch, but not one made it through to the party. I'm just saying a little more couldn't hurt.

But we raised millions and millions of credits! It's insane! I mean, tell me 4,602,270 isn't crazy.
