Intro (Before choosing a fund)

(2012:)

Okay, there's a lot to talk about, so I'm just sort of going to start and you can stop me whenever you want.

The school has agreed to let us use the museum if we raise enough money to cover all the overtime of fixing it before Halloween. I… can't really tell if they're being reasonable or trying to take advantage of us loving Halloween so much.

Anyway, I haven't had Emily's luck shaking down Midgard so we're stuck self-funding. It's going to be about two million, with some more for the little bits like decorations and candy. I mean, it sounds pretty crazy, but we managed to bring in Emerald Gift last year, so…

So anything you can do helps. If you don't have a lot, you can buy candy buckets and resell the candy to recoup the cost a bit.

Anyway, what are you excited about?

The museum!
I'll help with decorations
Candy sounds good
I can fund some punch
Security all the way
Maybe later (End of conversation)

The Museum!

I'm so glad you're with me on the museum. I think it'll be great. And don't listen to that filthy "artist." The museum's plenty scary.

Anything you buy right now's going to the main museum fund, so stock up!

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

I'll help with decorations

Alright, anything you buy now is going towards the decorations fund. Excellent choice, if I do say so myself… which I do.

Do you want to grab something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Candy sounds good

Oooooo, candy, excellent choice.

Do you want to grab something now? We have candy, you know. Mysterious candy from the four corners of… well, campus.

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

I can fund some punch

Punch it is! It's sort of a tradition and, well, if it can survive as a tradition after the whole thing <two/three> (for 2011/2012) years ago, more power to it.

Do you want to grab something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Security all the way

Very nice. Some good security should solve a lot of problems. Especially if we end up in the museum. That's a lot of people with punch and a lot of expensive paintings…

Quick, buy something before I talk myself out of it!

Absolutely
How are the funds?

Intro (After choosing a fund)

Did you want to pick anything up?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Absolutely/I'll buy something

(If your current location is Metroplex U, go to Halloween Fundraisers, otherwise:)

That'd be great! Just come out to the Quad and I'll find you, easy as pie.

(End of conversation)

How are the funds?

Let me check real quick here…
(Under 2,000,000 cred museum fund:)
We still need to scrape up some serious cred for the museum or they'll shove us in the dorms somewhere. The fund's at 181,750, so we'd need 2,500,000 more. We got this far thanks entirely to <a mysterious benefactor/player name>. <This is where your purchases are going now, by the way.>*

(Over 2,000,000 cred museum fund:)
I haven't heard back officially, but we raised 2,025,400 of our two million credit goal to repair the museum, thanks mostly to Al. Any more and I might have to start investing in hors d'oeuvres trays!

(Or, after some point on the 28th:)
I officially heard back. The 2,140,250 we raised of our two million credit goal will be enough to repair the museum, thanks mostly to Al. Any more and I might have to start investing in hors d'oeuvres trays!

(Under 100,000 cred decoration fund:)
We have 25,000 so far for decorations. Thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. <Anything you buy now is going for decorations. Excellent choice!>*

(100,000-499,999 cred decoration fund:)
Looks like we'll have some sweet decorations! We're at 104,800, thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. I'm… gonna go check and see if we can get that dinosaur back.

(Over 500,000 cred decoration fund:)
Looks like we'll have some sweet decorations! We're at 600,150, thanks largely to Cryptodynamic. We can even get the dinosaur back! Yes!

(Under 50,000 cred candy fund:)
We're starting to stockpile candy. We got 5,600 so far, thanks mostly to xerf. <Anything you buy goes towards candy. Even if what you buy is other candy. Strange, I know.>*

(Over 50,000 cred candy fund:)
Candy looks pretty well covered! We're at 595,450, thanks largely to Argeth. A little more candy never hurt anyone, though.

I'm pretty sure even if you have a ritzy Halloween party, you still need punch, but I've been wrong before. We've got 33,800 so far, thanks mostly to xerf. <All your purchases are going towards the punch fund.>*

(Or, after ~ 6 o'clock on the 28th:)
I'm pretty sure even if you have a ritzy Halloween party, you still need punch, but I've been wrong before. We've got 563,150 so far, thanks largely to Sir Cheddar. I'm just worried about all of it being delivered to the Quad.

(Under 100,000 cred security fund:)
We need to keep those paintings safe somehow. The security fund totals to 21,100, thanks mostly to xerf. <Anything you buy now is going towards security. Thanks! It means I might actually be able to show up this year.>*

(Over 100,000 cred security fund:)
Well hopefully those paintings will be safe. The security fund totals to 113,600, thanks mostly to Al.

(Some time later on the 29th:)
Having things delivered to the Quad is a nightmare. Between the injuries and all the overtime the guards are pulling chasing down pranksters, I'm not sure if 603,300 will be enough. At least we got that far thanks largely to xerf.

(Or, a few hours after rollover on the 29th:)
Having things delivered to the Quad is a nightmare. Between the injuries and all the overtime the guards are pulling chasing down pranksters, I'm not sure if anyone will even take the contract anymore. I'm not sure if 642,050 will be enough. At least we got that far thanks largely to xerf.

(Under 1 million cred total:)
And that's everything. It totals up to 336,000 if you're curious, thanks to everything people bought so far.

(Over 1 million cred total:)
And that's everything. I'm working with the administrators now to see if they plan to hold up their end of the bargain. The total's over a million! It's 1,334,150 if you're curious, but just wow.

(Over 2 million cred total:)
And that's everything. I'm working with the administrators now to see if they plan to hold up their end of the bargain. We raised millions of credits! It's 2,015,450 if you're curious, but just wow.

(Over 4 million cred total:)
We raised millions and millions of credits! It's insane! I mean, tell me 4,541,050 isn't crazy.

(After about 6 o'clock on the 28th:)
It sounds like the administrators are going to keep up with their end of the bargain! But… the building isn't going to be ready until the last second. Which kind of puts us in a bind because the deliveries are getting here now.

We'd really appreciate your help if you don't mind some manual labor.
(Or, if you're currently helping, last line above is replaced with:)
I appreciate you offering to help out!

I'll buy something
Manual labor's fine
I'm done helping (If already helping with manual labor)
The museum!
I'll help with decorations (same as 2011)
Candy sounds good
I can fund some punch
Security all the way
Thanks (End of conversation)

* Depending who you are supporting

Manual labor's fine

Awesome! They're right by the southern edge of the Quad.

Be careful, though, I've heard people are trying to sabotage things. Don't get yourself hurt.

(End of conversation)

I'm done helping

It's okay, I understand. If you change your mind, come back and I'll tell you where the delivery guys thought was a great idea this time.

(End of conversation)

Jess's comm rings a couple times, but doesn't pick up. Instead of an option to leave a message, it just gives you a picture of her dressed as a pirate.

It's not a bad tradeoff, really. Nobody checks their messages these days anyway.
