Intro (Before choosing a fund)

Hi! It looks like Halloween is in the Art Museum again this year, which is a pretty great location.

The good news is, we don't need to rebuild any more museum, so we get to focus on the party and calm down a little. We need decorations, drinks, and candy… animatronics and a maze if we're feeling crazy. But don't need to sell our souls to rich weirdos who carve up pieces of art.

The bad news? Well, the university realized this is one of their best fundraisers, so they want me to ask everyone to help build a special collections wing in the basement. You've officially been asked.

So anything you can do helps. If you don't have a lot, you can buy candy buckets and resell the candy to recoup the cost a bit.

Anyway, what are you excited about?

Decorations!
Drinks!
Candy!
Animatronics!
The maze!
Special collections!
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Decorations!

It's not really a party if you don't have decorations, right? We usually just do a lot of crepe paper and paper bats, but it really livens up the place.

Would you like to buy something now?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Drinks!

Punch has always been a tricky topic, going back before I even took over the party. But if we don't have it, people will just bring their own everything and we have even less control.

So punch it is! Would you like to buy anything and help us keep things a little clean?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Candy!

If there's one word that's synonymous with "Halloween," it's "candy." Okay, maybe "costumes," but candy is right up there.

Would you like to buy anything to raise money for candy? I should mention that includes other candy, so you can buy candy to get candy for yourself and the party. It's like double the fun!

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Animatronics!

Every year, it seems like people freak out on the animatronics and damage everything. I mean, they're scary but not that scary.

Anyway, if you want to help build up our animatronic legion, grab some candy!

Absolutely

The maze!

It's nice to talk to someone else who agrees the maze is a key part of Halloween. It's like a haunted house, only without the boring house parts. And you get to tour the museum. Pretty cool.

Anyway, if you want to start building those walls, grab something from the store.

Absolutely

Special collections!

The university made me agree to fundraise for their special collections, so here's the pitch: they want to get an area set up in the basement of the museum so rich donors can put in collections for the "enrichment of the student body." So everyone's smarter and they get to raise money.

Of course, they don't want to shell out any money to raise the money to… raise the money. Too much money, sorry if I dropped the explanation somewhere.

They haven't even started work on it, but I did get them to promise some considerations for the people who help build their cash cow. So at least the top donors get a name on a plaque or a free display or something.

If we raise enough, they'll start work after we clean up Halloween, which seems fair. Anyway, if you want to chip in, go for it. But don't forget the party, okay?

Absolutely

Intro (After choosing a fund)

Did you want to pick anything up?

Absolutely
How are the funds?
Maybe later (End of conversation)

Absolutely/I'll buy something

(If your current location is Metroplex U, go to Halloween Fundraisers, otherwise:)

That'd be great! Just come out to the Quad and I'll find you, easy as pie.

(End of conversation)

How are the funds?

We managed to wrangle permission to use the Hall of Sculptures again this year. Hopefully we can take over the whole art museum, but I'll believe it when I'm handing out caramel apples.

As far as the details, let me check…

Decorations:

(Initially) <lost>

We've made <x> credits for the decorations, thanks to <player>.

We should have enough crepe paper and the like with 295,000, but more streamers is always more festive. Thanks mostly to GoldS.

(And, if funding this) You're helping decorate the place!

Punch:

(Initially) Halloween means punch and punch, sadly, means having to throw out a lot of punch because people have tained it. We should probably get started.

(With some funding) We've raised <x> towards our punch goals, thanks to <player>.

(With 100,000+) The 552,000 we raised should be enough for drinks. Thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic.

(And, if funding this) Thanks for contributing towards the drinks!

Candy:

(Initially) It's just not Halloween without candy. We need to get started on that.

(With some funding) We're at <x> for candy. Thanks to <player>.

(With 100,000+) We're getting a bunch of candy with 346,000, but the more candy we get means the more candy we get to eat. Thanks largely to xKiv.

(And, if funding this) You're helping with the candy now.

Animatronics:

(Initially) We have this great animatronic tyrannosaurus rex and a bunch of other stuff that we should get animated. It seems like they get trashed every year, so we have some serious repairs to do.

(With 100,000+?) We're <x> credits towards some animatronics, thanks to <player>.

(With 500,000+) Yeah! We have 913,500 credits worth of animatronics! Thanks mostly to Argeth.

(And, if funding this) Animatronics are what you're working to get running. Which is great, those things are expensive!

Maze:

(Initially) We'd really like to build a maze on the ground floor again. Of course, we need to get the university's permission to close it off and they're gouging us. Like we don't already pay this place enough.

(With some funding) We're <x> credits towards getting the maze setup, but the school won't even give us permission short of a million. Thanks to <player>.

(Above 1,000,000 credits) Well, we raised the million the university was holding the ground floor hostage for, so we can start actually working on the walls. We're up to <x> credits for those! Thanks to <player>.

(Above 1,500,000 credits) I don't know how, but we raised 2,014,000 credits for the maze! Thanks largely to Al.

(And, if funding this) You're helping with this… hopefully you've got deep pockets, because the university is licking its chops.

Total:

(Initially) It totals up to <x> if you're curious, thanks to everything people bought so far.

(Above 1,000,000 total credits) The total's over a million! It's x if you're curious, but just wow.

(Above 2,000,000 total credits) We raised millions of credits! It's x if you're curious, but just wow.

(Above 4,000,000 total credits) We raised millions and millions of credits! It's insane! I mean, tell me 4,120,500 isn't crazy.

(And, After funding punch and/or candy) I've started talking with Midgard to get deliveries started. Hopefully we can start setup soon!

(Or, Above 500k total credits) I'm working with Midgard to get some deliveries started, but they're giving me a bunch of wanker excuses about software upgrades and not having enough drones to run additional shipments now.

(Or, above 2,000,000 credits? Or sometime on the 24th?) Well, Midgard isn't going to help with our deliveries, Silver Courier says they're redoing their whole fleet, and… well it's not like we can have them delivered with OmniLunch. I'm still looking into options.

(Or, on October 25th) Shipping has gotten all complicated this year. Setup's coming up soon and, well, we need things to setup. We've worked out a deal with some smaller shippers. They say we've taken over fifty percent of their fleet, but I'll believe it when I see stuff actually get delivered.

(Or, on October 26th for about 2 minutes before reverting back to 25th message) Shipping has gotten all complicated this year. Setup's coming up soon and, well, we need things to setup. We've worked out a deal with some smaller shippers. They say we've taken over their entire fleet, but I'll believe it when I see stuff actually get delivered.

(Or, on October 27th) Shipping's gotten all complicated this year. Setup's supposed to have started, but the Alliance drones haven't come through with anything. We've worked out a deal with some smaller shippers. They say we've taken over fifty percent of their fleet, but I'll believe it when I see stuff actually get delivered.

(Or, on October 29th at 6:45 Metroplex Time) Shipping's gotten all complicated this year. Setup's supposed to have started, but the Alliance drones haven't come through with anything. We've worked out a deal with some smaller shippers. They say they're sending stuff over, but I haven't seen anything actually get through yet.

Special Collections:

(Initially) The university's raised <x> credits for special collections. That's thanks to <player>.

(If > party funds) The university raised <x> credits for special collections. It's more than we actually raised for the party so far. That's thanks to <player>.

(At > 2,000,000) I don't know how, but the university raised 2,335,000 credits for special collections. They should have a big plaque or special access or something, so it might still be worth donating. For now, thanks largely to Cryptodynamic.

(And, if funding this) You're helping the university.

I'll buy something
I'll fund decoration
Let's get some drinks
Halloween needs candy
Animatronics or bust!
Let's build that maze!
Special collections!!
Thanks (End of conversation)

Hello! Here's this year's final totals, so nobody has to ask me for them.

We raised millions and millions of credits! It's insane! I mean, tell me 4,120,500 isn't crazy.

Well, we had some problems with shipping, but that's all water under the bridge, I suppose.

I don't know how, but the university raised 2,335,000 credits for special collections. They should have a big plaque or special access or something, so it might still be worth donating. For now, thanks largely to Cryptodynamic. You're helping the university.

And, on/after November 1st:
If you're missing any Halloween goodies, check with our new Special Collections curator in the museum basement!
