Lake Metroplex (South)

The south side of Lake Metroplex can be accessed from the Tainted Shoreline (if you have Ocean Sight) or Lake Metroplex North.

This counts as an underwater area, outdoors area.

As you make your way through the ruins, a marbled tentacle shoots from a nearby pillar. As you do your best to retaliate, you realize the strange lump on the pillar is actually an octopus, shifting colors to a brilliant red as it moves to attack you.
The lakebed below you collapses, revealing a pit filled with grasping tentacles. You're sucked into the pit, just in time for it to begin collapsing around you.

As you make your way clumsily through the ruins, you attract some unpleasant attention in the form of a massive octopus. Any one of its tentacles looks like it could ensnare and crush you… and you're certainly not going to outmaneuver it. Only if Diving Ability <3

A strange shrieking tune, almost like an alarm, rings out near you. As you come out of your reverie, you can see the spear-carrying thing barreling towards you.
