Description	Concentric rings of a dark metal slide and shift around this lens, presumably allowing it to focus on either nearby or distant objects. It could be an old camera lens… although you don't know enough about old cameras to say if their lenses are usually this decorative. The characters on the rings look like writing, but are either completely foreign or part of some obtuse system of notation.

Uses

When equipped in combat, and using Perception techniques (exact unlock not entirely clear), a special lens technique to your hand for the following round (see chart below). Using that technique lets you adjust the focus of your lens.

• Making an ascending chain will zoom you out to a longer-range form.
• Making a descending chains will zoom you in to closer-focused form.
• Using a focus technique by itself will not change forms. will focus the lens toward 'unknown' [5] maybe?; does nothing if already at 'unknown'?

Zooming out with a lens focused on the stars or zooming in with a lens focused on minutiae yields a lens focused on nothing.

You adjust your equipped gadget to <new form>.

* Occasionally you can get a message about being exalted and gain some extra stuff after the fight. Not sure what triggers this… Spading needed!!!

When a lens focused on minutiae or a lens focused on the stars turns into a lens focused on nothing:

You exalt in the realities swimming past your lens… glorious.

You've gained 50 duration of Fluid Focus.
