Encounter Conditions
Etheric
Parasitic Vine
Have not killed the Vine Confluence or some number of cubicles (can be replaced by a combat if you anger it)
Initial Text
In a sunny spot, where you're sure the most desirable cubicles are located, you find a massive flower among the vines. Perhaps "flower" is the wrong word… it's more like a many-lobed maw.
In any case, there are more vines here than anywhere else and it feels like they're steering you gently towards the flower.

Choice Text and Results
Rush in
The plant seemed perfectly content to communicate, but you take matters into your own hands.
(Fight Vine Confluence)
Try to communicate
The massive plant doesn't seem immediately hostile, but it also doesn't seem particularly communicative. You suppose you could open up conversation and see what it does.
Talk about Midgard
The plant lays a vine on you. You get the idea that the plant can "see" Midgard and even extend its vines to get you into that building across the street.
Ask to be let across
You politely ask to be let across into the Midgard facility across the street.
But the plant refuses to let you across. You feel like it's following your thoughts, but is still holding out for some sort of favour.
After successfully using Implant Seed 4(?) times (I got sprouting msg 4 times, and non-sprouting 4 times).
You politely ask to be let across into the Midgard facility across the street.
But the plant refuses to let you across. You get the feeling it's grateful, but you don't entirely see eye to eye.
Or, after 10-12 times getting a seed to sprout using Implant Seed.
You politely ask to be let across into the Midgard facility across the street.
After a moment, the vines extend their way through the window and over the street. You carefully pick your way across, finding your way into another maze of cubicles.
(Enter Records Office)
Demand to be let across
You demand to be let across into the Midgard facility across the street.
If you haven't done anything violent toward the vines yet:
But the plant refuses to let you across. You get the feeling it just doesn't fear you enough to bow to your will. It probably needs some sort of demonstration or obvious power.if you have any(?) Fire Power:
But the plant refuses to let you across. You know it doesn't like the smell of fire lingering around you, but doesn't feel like you're a proper threat to its kind.Otherwise:
But the plant refuses to let you across. You get the feeling it knows what you've been up to, but isn't convinced you're a personal threat. If you burned a lot of cubicles (5>):
After a moment, the vines extend their way through the window and over the street. You carefully pick your way across, finding your way into another maze of cubicles.
Offer praise
If you don't have any sprouting seeds:
You offer the plant your praise. In exchange, it gives you a seed. Well, that makes some degree of sense.
You politely thank it and accept the twitching gift.
You found: sprouting seed
Otherwise:
You offer the plant your praise. In exchange, it shows you how to implant its seeds into your enemies.
That seems… potentially a little self-serving, but it might be a mutually beneficial arrangement.
You learned a new Technique: Implant Seed
Leap to the attack
The plant seemed perfectly content to communicate, but you take matters into your own hands.
(Fight Vine Confluence)
Back away/Leave it be
Yeah, whatever's going on here is way above your pay grade.
History
Before the Records Office was implemented, asking to be let across gave:
You politely ask to be let across into the Midgard facility across the street.
After a moment, the vines extend their way through the window and over the street, but they are not long enough to reach Midgard's office. Perhaps the plant just needs more time to grow.
