The system starts up its Midgard Protector routine.
If Alert = ?:
You're snapped out of your hacking stupor by the sounds of klaxons nearby.
You've gained 10 energy of Red Alert.
Or, if you already have Red Alert:
Your connection flickers for a moment, then goes dead. Well, looks like it finally managed to block you.
As you're disconnected, you can hear several sets of footsteps approaching. Three Midgard Security officers burst into the room, guns at the ready.

If the alert gets too high too quickly, it can start up two Protectors instead of a Hound and Protector (similar to the NNN account.)
Disconnect
You disconnect from MBR Lab.
