You stumble across a strange show on Public Access. A high-strung, thin man speaks rapid fire about the horrors that have befallen Metroplex. He begins with a long intro presenting hazy evidence. Then he launches into a tirade, screaming about "X, Y and Z! It's the end! The end of times!" X, Y and Z are randomly chosen from three of the following: - UFOs over the lake - Lab-bred chimerae - Yetis wandering the forests - Rats that can speak and control terrible powers - Ghosts in the machine - Terrible hell hounds prowling beneath the University - Faeries in the sewers - Flesh-hungry ghouls on the waterfront - Mutant children in the sewers - Terrible winged eyes - Angry spirits forming piles of garbage into a mockery of human form - Maggots the size of your arm - Sea serpents in Metroplex lake - Voodoo zombies from beneath the waves - A dark presence in Southside - Singing fishmen that lure dock workers to their doom |
No known effect |
You flip through the channels the entire time you're resting and don't find a single thing worth watching. It's almost physically painful. | No effect |
There's a classic movie on about the orbital wars. It's hard to watch them now, knowing that nobody actually fought in orbit. It's a shame, the space battles were a great offset to the main tragic plotline. |
1 XP each in Perception and Will |

Hey, there's a program on the Blind Legion and they're giving away free copies of their book. That'll be way easier than piecing everything together from pamphlets. You give them a call and get your free copy. | Get Walk With the Blind (only if you've read enough Legion tracts to get the special message) |
(Blind Legion program when some other condition is met) | Watch the Blind Legion program and somehow be possessed to order a free copy of Walk With The Blind. How strange… |
