Oldtown Installation

Start

Either of:

• Ask Hawk about Oldtown after completing Waterfront Struggles for the Third Eye
• Ask Construction Site Third Eye about Docks after completing Waterfront Struggles for the Third Eye

Outline

• Get a BigDig experimental file by asking either of the two characters above about it
• Install the software update by either:
  • If you haven't crashed the BigDig, find the OmniTech BigDig hacking encounter (requires Juryrigged Antenna) and Command the Drive Control.
  • If you have crashed the BigDig, find the Dig Doug Down encounter and Add Third Eye files
• Report back to the Construction Site Third Eye and Report Success

• What happens if you have not hacked the Big Dig yet?

Rewards

• Gain a shirt of the hacking gift
• Optionally, equip the shirt of the hacking gift and find the Third Eye Sales and Ask him what's up, then take some Eclipse to gain Third Eye Inward skill.

Quest Log

Starting quest:

The Third Eye has asked you to replace some software on the OmniTech BigDig. Apparently it'll help them control it for the local workers.

After installing the software:

You got the software installed on the BigDig. The Third Eye in Oldtown should be rather pleased.

Finished quest:

You've helped the Third Eye expand into Oldtown.
