Play to win
With less than 6 reflexes
He plays a wicked game of pool. There a few spots you thought you saw an opening, but nothing you could exploit.
At the end, you hand over your twenty credits. He grins and shakes his head "bad luck, thought you had that one in the bag."
With six or more reflexes
He plays a mean game of pool, but you see enough openings in his play that you manage to squeak out a win. Eight ball in the corner pocket and that's the end of it.
He grins and pats you on the back. "Man, I thought I had that one in the bag. Up the stakes, fifty or nothin'?"
Sure, Fifty
Maybe it's because there's more on the line or maybe he was just luring you in earlier, but he plays a vicious game of pool. It's not even close.
He grins broadly as he takes your credits. "I thought you had that one in the bag, come back again anytime."
OR
He sighs and nods. "Yeah, alright, you won it fair and square. Here you go."
He beams over fifty credits. "Now I gotta go win back my beer money."
You gained 50 credits!
OR, if you're already won that day
You beat him again. You could make a habit out of this.
He shakes his head. "I'd offer to take it up to fifty again, but I can barely cover ten. Not gonna eat a lot tonight."
Or, if you don't have 50 credits:
You look around, but don't have the credits to cover the bet. He shakes his head. "Sorry, bring in some extra anytime."
You remind him he already lost ten credits, which he grudgingly produces.
You gained 10 credits!
Keep it (Good (1))
He nods vigorously and pockets his credits. "Thanks, this'll keep me fed tonight. You're the best!"
You've earned 3 XP in Will
How about that watch?
His eyes widen and his mouth gapes open slightly. "But… you're not Third Eye… sure, lemme just reach into my coat and get…"
In one fluid motion, he tosses a handful of pool chalk into your face and bolts. It doesn't hurt, really, but it distracts you long enough for him to slip into the crowd.
You follow him all the way to the front door and see him running towards the Quad. He's either a natural sprinter or has a lot of experience running out of shady bars.
I'll take the ten
His smile falters. "Sure, sure. Your choice. Guess I shouldn't give more money away."
You gained 10 credits!

Take your winnings
His smile falters. "Sure, sure. Your choice. Guess I shouldn't give more money away."

Play to learn
(First time)
You watch carefully as he plays a wicked game of pool. It isn't really your sport of choice, but you're pretty sure he's leaving openings where he doesn't need to.
You still lose, but you think if you really tried, you could probably take him out.
You've earned 3 XP in Reflexes
(Otherwise)
You watch his play. Still the same techniques, leaving the same openings. He's trying to lure you into taking his money. Odd.
Watching gives you some good ideas about how to apply the same techniques in a fight, though.
You learned a new Technique: Dirty Pool
You've earned 3 XP Reflexes
Decline his offer
You decline politely and turn to leave. His practiced smile falters for a second, but returns just as quickly.
"Sure thing, pal. Come back anytime."
