Your vision swims for a moment, as though you'd just been stuck in the head or taken a powerful drug. Once you blink your eyes clear, the warehouse is different.

Rusted chains are strung on the rafters like demented Christmas garlands, with slabs of putrid meat serving as the ornaments. Dark shapes move through the shadows between the crates, prowling.

The only sign that things may not have always been this way is the smell. It's breathtakingly foul, but certainly nothing compared to what it should be.
