Shipping drones can be hacked and intercepted. There are currently two places where you can find shipping drones, and both require the Juryrigged Antenna effect active:
- On the Tainted Shoreline (noncombat)
- On the Great View choice encounter on the 5th Floor of the damaged building in the slags
Drones can be hacked to redirect packages to you. Drones have identifiers that correlate with particular shipping companies. All drone names are seven characters, with a 1-3 letter prefix, an optional hyphen and 3-6 digits. Some drones are unregistered smugglers.

Filtering
By examining the Drone Registry routines in drones from a given company, it is possible to learn quest recipes that lets you filter only drones from that company. The filters give 20 turns of the filtering effect for the cost of one Filtering Script).
Silver Courier does not fly along the shoreline, and OmniLunch/NickOTime do not fly at high altitudes. Having the filtering effect in these cases does not seem to do anything.
Routines
See Shipping Drone Net Site Structure for full details on all shipping routines.
