Choice Text and Results
Rush it
You charge towards the drone. It swivels its robotic head towards you and unleashes a stream of ammunition.
(Fight: Midgard SD1, gain 2 XP in Strength regardless of the fight's outcome)
Go hide
(With stealth power of 4 (3 does not pass.)
You leap over a crate, then roll into a dark corner. The drone loses track of you momentarily.
It combs over the area with its sensors. You sit tight, regulating your breathing and moving as little as possible.
The drone eventually stops and it's so close you can hear the whirring of its internal components. Then it heads back to patrol, leaving only the 'click, click, click' of its legs on the concrete floor.
You've gained 4 XP in Perception
(Otherwise)
You dive over a crate and find a dark niche to hide in. The drone clicks back and forth, scanning over the area.
You control your breathing and try not to move. Until the drone snaps its head to look directly at you and releases a stream of machine gun fire.
(Fight: Midgard SD1, gain 2 XP in Perception regardless of the fight's outcome)
Run away
(With Reflexes at least ? (fails with 7 and 9) )
You break out into a run, jumping between stacks of crates as they explode under the drone's withering fire. When you scamper up a massive pile of crates, then roll down the other side, the drone loses track of you.
It stands confused for a moment. You can almost hear its harddrive spinning. Then it returns to its normal search pattern.
You've gained 4 XP in Reflexes
You've learned a new Technique: Leaping Dodge
(Otherwise)
You burst into a run, then scale a pile of crates to get away from the drone. You're a second too slow as a burst of ammunition shatters the pile below you.
You find yourself on your back, staring up at the smoking barrel of the thing's machine gun.
(Fight: Midgard SD1, gain 2 XP in Reflexes regardless of the fight's outcome)
