Choice Text and Results
Make it stop
You scream at the hallway to stop, focusing your will to its utmost.
The hall shatters and, before you can get in another thought edgewise, resolves back into a field of tentacles.
(Fight a Writhing Mass; get 2 XP in Will in addition to normal XP for defeating it)
Run with it
If Reflexes > ?
You leap up on to a wall, that becomes the ceiling a moment later. With a tight flip, you land on the new floor and sprint towards the end of the hall. As it twists again, becoming a wall, you launch yourself out of the tunnel.
You've earned 5 XP in Reflexes
Otherwise,
You jump onto a wall, which twists into the ceiling. Gravity remains inexorable, even though the hall keeps changing.
By the time you're done, you've left blood prints on all the surfaces of the hall and don't think you'll ever stop being dizzy.
You take 12-17 damage.
You've earned 2 XP in Reflexes
Call for help
If you have the skill Ocean Sight
Far in the distance you hear a singing… familiar, but still strange. You can't make out words, but let its tone guide you through the hall.
When you reach the other side, the voice wavers and finally goes silent.
You've gained 10 energy of Ocean Song.
If you have the skill Fae Eyes (and the effect Fae Sight?)
You hear a far of ringing, like a tiny bell. Following it here and there, you eventually find a tiny green light, one of the fairies you've befriended.
It tinkles a sound like laughter, then flits through a nearby wall. Only after that, you realize you reached the other end of the tunnel.
You've gained 10 energy of Fae Blessing.
Otherwise,
You cry and cry and cry for help. But sadly, no one seems to be listening.
The hall spins and spins, battering you against the walls before it eventually deposits you at the far end.
You take 21-22? damage.
