You can hear a massive shape scuttling on the ceiling before you can see it. But it stays out of your way and out of reach, just watching you with its blank, black eyes.

It's just staring… and waiting, but it lets you traverse much of the floor under its watch. Eventually it vanishes back into the shadows, leaving you uncertain where it'll show up next.
