The heart can be used while equipped.
Without the Undying Heart skill?:
You bring the heart to your ear and listen, hearing a faint beat. Perhaps it's a hallucination, but it is strangely soothing.
With Undying Heart and Ghoultouched not active:
The heart looks surprisingly tasty, for something made out of black rock. Luckily, you're able to resist your baser impulses.
With Undying Heart and Ghoultouched active or not having the Ghoultouched skill at all:
You devour the heart, shattering it between your teeth and letting its steaming blood flow down over you. For a moment you can see through two artists' eyes, both equally mad, and see how their dreams pull at your actions. The sensation is dizzying.
Meanwhile, your wounds knot over with new flesh.
You regain 6-21(all?) hit points!
You've earned 2-5 XP in Strength
Eating the heart does not cost Hunger.
