With the scepter equipped, killing an opponent that you've eaten with an eating technique (most likely Ghoul Bite) gives the following (must be a true eating form of the technique (eg. air filter will prevent this, and (untested) if opponent evades all damage it will not work)):
You've learned a new Skill: Ghoultouched
With the scepter equipped, Channeling Matsuo active, and not eating an opponent with an eating technique, there is a chance of getting the following result instead:
You stop for a second, half expecting to see Matsuo's sword in your hand.
But when you see the scepter it dawns on you: you've actually killed demons or at least something that looks exactly like them.
All you need now is a little luck and a lot of agility to put Matsuo to shame. After all, you're real.
You've learned a new Skill: Demon Slayer
The scepter can be given to the Fish King at the Distant Palace.
