Leap to the attack
The masked figure inhales deeply, then begins laughing. "Well, let's see if we can't make you change your mind."
(Fight Masked Shaman)
Try to talk with him
"One that talks? This must be a new breed." He slowly tilts his shrunken head up and down, as though letting it survey you.
"Alright, let's talk. You've killed my… friends, but we need someone. Our existence is nothing but fog on the water, disappearing in the sun."
He laughs bitterly, an eerie sound echoing out from the mask. "I need you to take the mask back to your shores. I'll give it to you, just take it and promise never to come back."
Alright, I'll help
He nods his head. "Very well then, you'll learn my secrets."
He removes his mask, revealing a blank space filled with stars where his face should be, and pushes it over your face. There's a moment of cold, so intense it seems to burn, when the mask touches your skin.
Then the sensation of falling through darkness. Far in the distance you can hear a raspy man's voice reading a story of ghosts and pirates and voodoo shamans. You cough, the pain wracking your delicate frame. The man stops reading and you feel a cool cloth on your head. "There there, Buttons, don't give up on daddy now."
Then you hear the faceless man's voice, now booming from above. "There, now you know our secret. Leave and never come back."
You wake up on the beach, the mask gone but… part of you somehow.
You've learned a new Skill: Servant of the Mask
If you have given the Slags antidote to Larry, the above is replaced by:

Then you hear the faceless man's voice, now booming from above. "Now you know our secret. We're nothing but mists on the water now, fading into eternity. Go now. Take the mask with you."

Tell me more
He rocks the shrunken head he carries back and forth in a strange mockery of shaking his head. "I've got nothing more for you than Lies. Smoke and mirrors and fog and bone…"
"Take the mask. I've sent others out but… I fear they will fade. The mask will remain… our connection to your shores." He touches the bottom of his bone mask, as though preparing to take it off.
You're lying
"I am? Or perhaps the world is a lie. This ship, your shore, the old gods, the lotus eaters… all one big lie." He shrugs, then laughs, the sound hollow behind his mask.
The echoes of laughter bounce through the ship, not deadened by the fog, and you hear the cawing of crows in the distance.
You're too crazy to live
The masked figure inhales deeply, then begins laughing. "Well, let's see if we can't make you change your mind."
(Fight masked shaman)
Let me think about it
The masked figure moves the shrunken head in his hand up and down so it can look over you. "There isn't much to think about, is there? Everything's so clear… very well, but be quick."
You turn and leave before he changes his mind.
Run away
You turn to run and hear laughter following you, haunting your every move as you get further from the helm. Then a massive hand descends from the mists, blocking your path.
You hear the distant voice from behind you, shrouded in the mists. "You'll have to do better than that to outrun the mind."
(Fight Ghostly Hand)
