LeatherJacket.jpg Dock Security It's not terribly strange to come across a search party on the Waterfront, but it's a bit more noteworthy when they're apparently looking for you. Only after the Incoming Shipment fortifications

BrassKnuckles25.jpg Vigilante Justice Combat Encounters (Good (2))

Opponent Encounter Text Notes
LeatherJacket.jpg  Dock Security Wandering around, looking for villains and oppressors to fight, you come across a good selection. Four dock security guards stand in a circle, beating a defenseless dockhand with their batons. You can hear his ribs cracking as you charge in.

And upon victory:
Unfortunately, before the fight, the dock hand took a great deal of internal damage. It'd take a better doctor to prevent him from bleeding out on the docks, so you make him comfortable.

Or, with any type of First Aid that logically could heal others along with yourself:
You patch up the dock hand after the fight, preventing him from bleeding out on the docks. When he eventually awakens he clasps you by the shoulder. "You, you really saved my bacon there. Here… take this. It's all I got to thank you with. <My old lucky hat. Did me pretty well until today/My old lucky hat. Or so I thought/A flask of my mammy's special brew>."

He forces the <hat/flask> into your hands, <smiling widely/smiling as widely as he can manage.>
Gain lucky cap/unlucky cap/special brew in addition to drops
LeatherJacket.jpg Gang Enforcers Three gangers have surrounded a dockhand, two holding him while the third threatens him with a massive hunting knife. When you speak up, the two gangers holding his arms let go and draw clunky pistols.

The dockhand stutters something that was probably "thank you" as he runs off.
Gain massive hunting knife in addition to drops
LeatherJacket.jpg Officer Stone, 2 Dock Security You hear a few hushed voices off in the distance. You can make out a little bit… "No sir, no, I don't have your money." Then it's cut off by a loud scream.

You find three security guards, one of whom obviously commands the others, standing over a dockhand. He rocks back and forth, cradling the bloodied remains of his right hand.

As you approach, the leader of the guards pivots to face you, gun drawn. "Heard you been givin' the pissants here a bit of a leg up on my boys. Well, that ends here."

And upon victory:
(Various messages - see Officer Stone for details)
Only if you have not yet killed Officer Stone
LeatherJacket.jpg Officer Stone, 4 Dock Security As you make your way along the docks, you hear shouting and see the glare of flashlights following you. The officer from earlier fires off a few rounds, taking chunks out of nearby crates.

The whole posse catches up with you by the water's edge. It should be easy enough to ditch them by jumping into the water, but that'll just prove no one can stand up to them.

And upon victory:
(Various messages - see Officer Stone for details)
Only if you have not yet killed Officer Stone
LeatherJacket.jpgEclipse.jpg Officer Stone, 3 Dock Security, 2 Twisted Hounds During your nighttime patrols, you hear the click of claws and quietly shuffling feet. Looking out, you see a small team of security guards circling around your position along with two warped hounds covered in crystalline spines.

Once they think they're hidden, their leader steps out into the light. "Hey, masky! You gettin' ready to move up north or your momma just make you that ugly?"

He pauses and pulls out an ornate gun in his offhand. "Hey, got something for you! You remember this? Damned thing doesn't even work!" he holds the gun higher into the air. It looks familiar from the pictures you've seen of the Vigilante.

And upon victory:
Officer Stone drags himself off the ground, leaving a pool of blood where he fell. He shouts "Fine! Take it!" and hurls the pistol at you, taking advantage of the confusion to abandon his men and flee.
Only if wearing the Vigilante's mask
Gain cracked pistol in addition to drops
LeatherJacket.jpgcoffee.jpg Officer Stone, 3 Dock Security, 2 Drone Hounds During your nighttime patrols, you hear the whirring of servos and quietly shuffling feet. Looking out, you see a small team of security guards circling around your position along with two Midgard hound drones.
