Negative political blog

PA	The owner is definitely very political, but actually goes into how specific economic structures have caused the stratification seen in Metroplex and throughout the world.
PA	The owner seems obsessed with Midgard drones. Most engineering majors at Metroplex U are interested in drones, but Ahmed breaks the mold by going with the anti-drone camp. A few articles touch on drone memory architecture. It's shockingly complicated, even in the simple form shown here. Either Midgard is making this stuff intentionally difficult to understand or they're doing a really bad job explaining it to their future engineers. That said, there are some basic files that should be computer-readable. With the right tools, you could probably extract memories from cooperative or disabled drones. That could come in handy.

There are some interesting articles about the 'main SD' series of spider drones. SD1 and SD2 apparently came out over ten years ago, but within six months of each other. From the sounds of things, the SD1 was a test run using weapons from the Hound Drone line and the SD2 was designed from the ground up for long-term use and physical combat. The SD4 and SD5 were apparently put in the prototype stage back then and were delayed when the plant intended to build them was destroyed in the Incident that created the Slags. Rumors are that they'll be reaching production soon, but the owner notes those rumors have been around for a few years. The owner points out the suspicious lack of an SD3 as though it's proof of some great conspiracy.

The concept doesn't hold a lot of promise, but the choreography is beautiful.

PA	The owner has a couple of clips about new shows that are coming up. Huh. There's a documentary series called "Take the Plunge" that does underwater exploration. Which is kind of neat on its own, but it also looks like they did some diving in Lake Metroplex.

It's hard to tell exactly what it's about, though, because the owner has dubbed over it with dialogue mocking the Omegas on campus. It's actually pretty funny.

Hacking blog

PA	The owner has a lot of advice about security. Too much to use effectively, really. You try to keep as much in mind as possible.
PA	<The owner> has posted some annotated sections of Novos documentation. It looks like assignments for class, but you give the discussion a quick read. Yeah, as you expected. You don't know enough to make heads or tails of it. /// It's interesting, but the deeper Novos syntax is kind of baffling.

Cheater's blog

SF	You find some cheatsheets has written up. They look… like they'd be pretty helpful if you were a student. / With some digging, you find a stash of cheatsheets Hoffman has been accumulating. They look… like they'd be pretty helpful if you were a student.
SF	It looks like the owner has a substantial cache of tests here, which isn't too strange… but they mostly seem to be Dr. Myers's tests from this year… the date listed on some of them hasn't even been reached yet. / It looks like the owner has some of Dr. Myers's tests. You'll probably have to take down this whole file system to make sure there won't be backups, but here they are.

Firestarter

SF	A lot of the shared files are videos of people using and abusing various explosives. Frankly, it's mostly idiots blowing themselves up in gruesome manners. The results are sickening, but give you lots of good ideas of what not to do.
SF	You dig a little and find a popular video marked 'The Fireshaper'. It's presented without commentary, showing a bespectacled student somehow pulling the fire off an unmoving figure with her hands. The whole thing lasts all of thirty seconds, but it's a nice bit of heroism.

Music Site

SF	Someone's shared a ton of music here. It takes a bit of a search, but you find some more of what you're listening to.
SF	You do a bit of digging and find a convenient archive of music files. You download a few to see what the people on campus are listening to.
SF	You dig a bit and find a neural scrape that claims to be from an Emerald Gift concert. That seems pretty unlikely, but you download it a formatted core to see.
