Unlabeled Music
Item

Description | This old-fashioned audio chip looks pretty new, but doesn't have any label on it. The only identifying mark is a tiny stamp that says "Metroplex U Music Department." |
Type | Usable |
Use | You pop the recording into your comm. It sounds jarring and… you think the word is atonal. Layered underneath the clashing notes, you can faintly pick up a whispering voice. You're pretty sure it's just mumbling gibberish, but after the stuff you've seen, it's hard to be too sure. |
Multi | You slot the recordings into your comm and queue them up as a playlist. Each of them is a different composition, although they share a discordant style and shrieking violin solos. Underneath them all, there's a muttering voice, barely above a whisper. You can never quite pick out what it's saying, but you can't stop hearing it. |
