Unlabeled Music

Item

Image computerchip.jpg
Description This old-fashioned audio chip looks pretty new, but doesn't have any label on it. The only identifying mark is a tiny stamp that says "Metroplex U Music Department."
Type Usable
Use You pop the recording into your comm. It sounds jarring and… you think the word is atonal.

Layered underneath the clashing notes, you can faintly pick up a whispering voice. You're pretty sure it's just mumbling gibberish, but after the stuff you've seen, it's hard to be too sure.
Multi You slot the recordings into your comm and queue them up as a playlist. Each of them is a different composition, although they share a discordant style and shrieking violin solos.

Underneath them all, there's a muttering voice, barely above a whisper. You can never quite pick out what it's saying, but you can't stop hearing it.
