Intro (Initially)
Halloween!
Man, I heard this place throws some real fucking bangers, but I finally get to go and you know what we got? Midgard crawling all over the place like giant corporate spiders.
Well, this year, they don't want to play for some reason. All the better for us. Let's show them how to throw an actual party!
That said, not selling out… isn't always the most profitable. So if you want something at the party, somebody's got to pay for it.
I won't twist your arm, though.
We need drinks, food, decorations, a place to have the party, and some cyberware. So anything you could help out with would be great.
Drinks!
Food!
Decorations!
Space!
Cyberware!

Drinks!
Damn straight!
If there's anything every partier believes in, more than God or corp or screwed up brand loyalty, it's two words: open fucking bar.
I mean, even I can afford a couple kegs of Metros Light but… ugh. So, even if you don't want to drink up yourself, think of the children.
Absolutely
How are the funds?

Food!
Truth be told, I'm more into mixed drinks than candy. But if I wanted to celebrate a holiday all about drinking, I'd wait until New Years.
So, we need some candy. And none of this off-the-shelf Zaibatsu stuff. So… it's probably gonna be a little pricey.
But who wants shitty candy anyway?
Absolutely

Decorations!
Well, we don't officially have a site yet, but even if we end up in a bombed-out warehouse by the Slags, we need some decorations. Glow-in-the-dark stuff, skeletons, you know.
A Halloween party without decorations is just a rave with costumes. And that's like a bimonthly thing, not a yearly thing.
Absolutely

Space!
Venue for a party like this is never cheap. The old coordinator was always struggling to get enough time to get stuff set up.
Well, I've got a plan for that, heh heh heh. But it's going to take some money to pull off. Creds make the world go round, after all.
Absolutely

Cyberware!
This one's kind of selfish. I love working my arm into costumes, even swapping out parts to get the right effect.
But my grandparents ran off with bank during the Orbital Wars, so I can afford it. Lots of kids out there, even folk here, can't afford that.
Hell, there are still a lot of people that got fucked up in the Incident like me. Worst case, buy some cyberware to help 'em out.
Absolutely
The Incident?

The Incident?
Hm? Ah, yeah, back when I was in grade school. Big explosion, left the Slags, I'm sure you've heard that part.
Part Midgard aren't huge fans of talking about is how many kids it fucked up. The smaller they were, the bigger the changes. My arm… well, I don't remember much, but they had to amputate it. And that's not close to the worst.
You can get around with one hand, for sure, but cyberware makes things a hell of a lot easier. I'm going into biomechanical engineering, actually. So, uh, I'll be here for a while.
Anyway, in a few years, Metroplex should be as well known for cyberware as it is for Midgard. Fingers crossed.

Absolutely/I'll buy something
(If your current location is Metroplex U, go to Halloween Fundraisers, otherwise:)
Great. Just swing by the Quad and we'll get you set.

How are the funds?
Initially:
We haven't gotten any money for drinks yet.
At < 250,000:
We've made 5,000 credits for the drinks, thanks entirely to Argeth.
At < 1,000,000:
It looks like we have 250,000 credits for the drinks, which should be enough get us real drinks for the bar, thanks mostly to GoldS.
At < ???:
It looks like we have 1,115,450 credits for the drinks, which should be enough to get us some top shelf stuff for the bar! Thanks mostly to GoldS.
And, if you're funding drinks:
Last I heard, this is where you're helping.Initially:
Halloween isn't Halloween without candy. So I guess it'll be a rave with costumes. Not so bad, I say.
At < 250,000:
Halloween isn't Halloween without candy? We've raised 5,000 to get some. It's mostly mass-market stuff, but better than not-Halloween. Thanks entirely to Argeth.
At < 500,000:
Halloween isn't Halloween without candy. We've raised 255,500 and are working on sourcing the good stuff, thanks mostly to GoldS.
At < ???:
Halloween isn't Halloween without candy. We've gotten 1,017,000 so far and should be able to get some quality stuff, thanks mostly to Argeth.
And, if you're funding candy:
You're fighting on the candy front.Initially:
We've got to decorate. Even if it's just some crepe paper and a few dead tree branches.
At < 250,000:
We've got the decorate. We're at 5,000, that's a lot of crepe paper, thanks to entirely to Cryptodynamic.
At < 1,000,000:
We've got to decorate. And this is going to be a serious party. Skeletons, chains… still some crepe paper. We've raised 300,100 for decorations, thanks mostly to GoldS.
At < ???:
All these losers have been pestering us to let them do art for years. So it's time to let them loose and see what happens. We've raised 1,027,600 for decorations, thanks mostly to GoldS.
And, if you're funding decorations:
Thanks for helping make sure the party is dark.Initially:
Space doesn't happen for free unless we go for an abandoned building by the Slags and… even then, it might be good to clear the place out a bit first.
At < 2,500,000:
We have 11,000 credits towards getting a venue. We're still out near the Slags, but we've gotten this far thanks to entirely to a mysterious benefactor.
At < ???:
We have 4,000,250 credits towards the venue. That's enough to bribe Midgard Security to ignore us using a place by the Cellar Door. Thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic.
At < ???, starting on October 29th:
We have 4,017,750 credits towards the venue! I think we're set, since preparations have already started. Thanks mostly to Cryptodynamic. You're helping with this.
And, if you're funding the venue:
You're helping with this.Initially:
If we can, I'd like to ante up for some cyberware.
At < 500,000:
We have x credits for cyberware… or cybercredits, as I'll insist on calling them until we get more money. There's a way to go, but thanks entirely to Cryptodynamic.
At < 1,000,000:
We have x cybercredits! That means we can at least swing a biosafe drop off for people to leave cyberware. Thanks largely to GoldS.
At < ???:
We have 1,019,800 cybercredits, which means we can start providing enhancements for people who want them! Thanks mostly to GoldS.
And, if you're funding cyberware:
Thanks for helping with this!Initially:
Whole lot of nothing so far, but that's what you get for not selling out.
At < 1,000,000:
We've got 5,000 so far. Which is pretty good on the not selling out scale.
At < 2,000,000:
A million credits! Well, 1,082,100 credits. Damn.
At < 4,000,000:
We raised millions of credits. It's not Midgard money, but 2,230,600 is a hell of a thing.
At < ???:
We raised millions and millions of credits. What the actual hell 8,197,600?I'll buy something
I'll fund drinks!
Food all the way
We need decorations!
The venue
Cyber everything!
Thanks (End of conversation)
Intro (After choosing a fund)
If you haven't already blown all your money on cyberware, we've got a store. But if you have, no judgement.
