Description	It takes a minute to figure out what this contraptions is supposed to do, but you do find some well-hidden ports that look like they'd take standard ammo. Beyond that, there are all sorts of catches and triggers, revealing compartments and blades. Not all of them have any obvious purpose. One catch does reveal a plaque saying "Stellar Defense Team Omega - Zalian Defense Tool," which rings a bell. You think some of the bums in Southside still talk about it, because it was one of the last TV shows they watched before they collectively ended up homeless. At least all its strange features make sense if it's a replica weapon… although it does leave the question of "who would make a replica that fires real bullets?" Ah, yeah, there's the Zaibatsu logo right there… really should have guessed that.

Hey, do you remember Stellar Defense Team Omega? Man, that show ruled.

Anyway turns out Zaibatsu had someone recreate the Zalian defense tools from the show and the contractor didn't get they meant a toy. So, yeah, they… fell off a truck and I'm almost giving 'em away!

I've got some other stuff too, but how can you say no to Team O? Well, I am going to be cleaning house soon, so maybe you should look over the other stuff.

What's a Zalian defense tool?/Zalian defense what?

I'm not sure if you're a big Team O… I mean "Stellar Defense Team Omega" fan. It's probably before your time.

Anyway, the team leader was a Zalian… which is kind of like a human with bright blue hair… but they had these bracers that were like gun-flamethrower-razorblade-death things.

So, it's a Zaibatsu show, not sure if I mentioned that, back when Zaibatsu hadn't quite taken over yet and still made good stuff. They're on "Supernatural Stellar Defense Team Omega" now… don't ask.

Anyway, Zaibatsu farmed out making replica Zalian defense tools to the same people who make the Matsuo replica swords. The end results were, let's just say, a bit too literal and not-at-all child safe.

I still can't find the flamethrower button, but I have it on good authority there's one hiding in there somewhere.

Uses

After defeating enough opponents with this item equipped (exact requirements unknown), it upgrades into its next form with the following message:

You think you're starting to get the hang of this 'Zalian Defense Tool' thing.

This item is not a component for any kind of crafting.

This item cannot be salvaged.

This item cannot be added to a gang stash.

With the Zalian Blade effect active, Zalian systems will grant their bonus to melee instead of ranged attacks.
